My current rate is $120 for a 45-minute session. I welcome adults (18 years and over) for individual counselling. Couples and family counselling is not offered at the moment.
Can I use my insurance to pay for counselling?
Counselling is generally covered by extended health insurance, however, it depends on your specific plan. Please contact your provider to clarify.

How many sessions do I need to feel better?
For some, counselling is a lifelong process of self-exploration and for others, it is a once in a blue moon emergency intervention. It may take as few as 3-6 sessions to address practical issues and learn self-regulation skills. Depending on your circumstances, it may get worse before it gets better as intense unprocessed emotions come up to the surface. To resolve deep-seated trauma and the root cause of your concerns it may take longer than a few sessions. In any case, counselling should take as long as you want it to take! You are in the driver’s seat.
