Registered Professional Counsellor
Welcome to Dia-Logos Counselling! Below is some information about my qualifications and views on counselling.
I have a diploma in Professional Counselling from the Vancouver College of Counsellor Training and a B.Sc. (Neuroscience and Pharmacology) from the University of Toronto. I have completed a year-long counselling internship with Moving Forward Family Services.
I am currently in my fourth year of training in Existential Analysis with the Exitential Society of Canada and my second year in Masters of Arts in Counselling Psychology from Yorkville University.
I practice from Existential and Person-centred perspectives which means I believe you are the expert on yourself and have the innate potential to heal. That being said, speaking as someone who has had my own fair share of therapy while recovering from an eating disorder, I realize change is not easy and the road ahead may be bumpy. As a therapist, I will accompany you through the ups and downs of this journey until you don’t need me any longer.
Some reasons you may come to see me:
- Eating Disorders
- Psychedelic Integration
- Pet loss
- Loss and Grief
- Life Transitions
*If you don’t see your current concerns reflected in this list, I encourage you to contact me regardless. This list is condensed and not exhaustive.
To those who choose to trust me with this process – I am honoured to accompany you on your journey of healing. It may not be easy but it is always worth it.
